Multi-effect system TC-MES-DDGS

Designed for concentrate stillage (fermented liquid after the distillation process) in order to increase the dry solids content before drying in the production of DDGS at bioethanol plants.

 

Structural features

Optimization of the evaporation process through the use of a four-body evaporator (EV) operating under vacuum with sequential utilization of secondary steam;

Use of falling-film and forced-circulation type evaporators for uniform product heating;

Possibility of integrating a steam-jet compressor to enhance energy efficiency;

Efficient system for removal of non-condensable gases and condensate from steam chambers;

Modular design that simplifies transportation, installation, and maintenance;
Complete thermal insulation of bodies to minimize energy losses.

Stable product concentration at the outlet (35–40% dry solids) ensured by precise control of temperature and hydraulic regimes;

Preservation of protein nutritional properties due to operation at reduced temperatures;

Uniform evaporation without scale formation or product overheating.

Economy

Low steam consumption — 0.25–0.3 t of heating steam per 1 t of evaporated water from the EV bodies; Possibility of utilizing heat from the dryer;

Reduction of energy consumption and operating costs compared to traditional systems;

Decreased load on drying equipment due to pre-concentration of stillage.

Main components made of stainless steel AISI 304/316 resistant to corrosion and organic acids;

High operational reliability during long production cycles without cleaning;
